My goal for this cleanse was to get me back to eating how I need to, my sister is getting married in 30 days, and I want to be down another 10 pounds, putting me within sight of my 50 pounds total weight loss goal.  After the cleanse, I’m down 1 pound and my skin is positively glowing!Energy is through the roof and I have been sleeping so amazingly that I don’t wake up even once in the night.  I used to wake up almost every night having to go to the bathroom, no matter what time I stopped drinking or eating.  Only 9 pounds to go!

I lost 1 pound. My back has completely cleared up. I have had enough energy to wake up at 5 am every morning to exercise. All great accomplishments to me. I have also noticed  that my muscle recovery has been quick a well; I am not achy for as long. And I love all of the smoothies I’ve been trying. I now crave them all the time.

From my starting weight to my ending weight, which was NOT my overall goal (my goal was purely detox) was a total of 6 pounds and 2 inches lost.

The only real symptoms that I had were the ones that I shared with you in my post. I can’t complain if I lost 6 pounds, it was totally worth it, and now I am officially down to 91 pounds lost and 9 more to go for my 100 pound goal in August!  I KNOW I CAN DO IT!

Thanks for always helping me (us) to be Plant Strong!

My Results

In the last few months I have not been able to work out as much as I would love. Sprout’s night sleep has also been out of whack, especially lately, with all the milestones she is going through; so I have been running short on rest, which, even with a perfect diet, can lead to some weight retention and, sometimes, gain. While Hubby tried to give me breaks at night, and we took turns with getting Sprout down to bed, when she wakes up, it is still not the same as getting a uninterrupted good night rest to let my body rejuvenate. I had done all things possible, eating right, cutting down on calories, but still 5 pounds slowly crept up on me and left me feeling frustrated. Five pounds is not much, but it is a lot for me, especially because I was feeling soft.

It was time to do something drastic, to jolt my body back into action. So, a good, near raw “detox” was in order. While there was nothing to detox from my body (eating clean) 😉 getting a lot of enzymes, cutting down on cooked calories really helped my body to rest. By yesterday morning I was feeling more energetic and at peace with myself. I also felt leaner and stronger!

As of this morning I am feeling great (although not well rested still) 😉 and I lost 3+ pounds. Goal accomplished!

I am planning to keep my cooked food intake down, and, as Sprout allows, to get more rest. 😉 With this, I should be able to continue with the success of this detox.
