A Word of Gratitude {Beating Cancer}

Most of you read yesterday’s post about two wonderful people–Gary and Fay–both of whom are fighting cancer.  Yesterday I reached out to my readers and to the health community for their support, to help Gary and Fay in their battle against cancer.  The response was overwhelming and humbled my heart.

Excalibur Dehydrators are sending Gary and Fay a 9-tray dehydrator–top of the line!

Vitamix–my favorite blender company, is sending Gary and Fay two Vitamix 5200 blenders–one for them and one for the participants of their rehabilitation program.

I just received a call from Tribest–they are shipping one of their best juicers to Gary and Fay–Green Star Elite 5000 Juicer.

One of Vegalicious readers, Nikki is sending the Millers some of her great vegetable powder supplements, to help them increase their vegetable and fruit intake.

Some of my readers sent in cash donations to help Gary and Fay.

I don’t even know where to begin expressing my personal grattitude to these wonderful individuals and companies–thank you is simply not enough to express what I feel.   However, since it is not for me, I am sure you want to know how Gary and Fay felt when they heard about these generous donations.  Well, when I was on a Skype call with them last night and broke the news, they were in tears–their hearts overflowing with thanksgiving.  So, please accept their gratitude, along with mine.

Development

Last night we covered the basics of what will be helpful for them on their journey–food, lifestyle, and exercise.  Today I spent more time reaching out to companies and individuals who can help them reach their optimal health faster; as well as working on developing this week’s menu, which will be so much easier to create, once they have their equipment by the end of the week.
