Moms are the most amazing beings in the world. Loving, giving, sacrificial, stern at time, but always kind. They make the world go around. I cannot imagine my life without my Angel
. Although a premenopausal surprise for her–she had me at 47–she gave me all she got… and to the rest of my siblings. I would not change one thing about how I came into this world… because Mom and Dad always made me feel special. They gave me everything I needed to succeed in life.

Mom gave me… her personality and her stubbornness ;). At nearly 83 she is still young at heart and loves life. I have never met as young of an older person as she is. She still goes swimming to the Y 4-5 times a weeks, watches her grand and great-grandkinds, visits her friends, has people over. Mom never stops!

I love my readers! What can I say?! They (you) are just awesome! I love talking with you here on the blog and on the Facebook. I love sharing my stories and my life with you and even more I love learning about you, watching you transition to a healthier lifestyle, and in the process, touch the lives of others. I am simply blessed! Very rarely do I end up with any negativity in comments here on the site or on Facebook–most of you are just wonderfully amazing, wanting to live better, healthier, happier and longer, and I am all they way with you, wanting to see you not to the finish line, but the beginning and continuation of your health journeys.

Some of you already heard it from me–last week Hubby and I had a maternity, i.e. belly shoot. (yee-huh!) A wonderful local photographer, Nicole Dixon, captured our most memorable time for us. She just added a few images to Facebook, so I am going to repost them here, hoping they will look as good in this resolution, so you all can see just how much fun we had in the 50 F degree weather
wearing summer clothes (brrrr….).
