The winner is comment #2 by MnMsMama:
The kitchen is my little one’s favorite room in the house (he’s almost 7 months old). He loves to stand next to me in his walker, smacking his lips, watching as I make our morning smoothies (he’s fascinated by the sights and sounds the blender makes). He eats a variety of pureed fruits and vegetables daily, but his current favorite is “avocado on a half shell”…avocado straight out of the shell, with a spoon (just like his momma). It doesn’t get any easier than that to prepare, and he loves holding the spoon that feeds him. I have no doubt when he’s a little older and able he will still be right beside me, helping to prepare and/or cook the food that feeds our family

WINNER ANNOUNCED REDRAWN
The initial winner (April) did not claim her prize, so the new winner has been draw. Solange gets the prize and 24 hours to claim it. She said:
Hi Elena, what a TASTY giveaway! I had the chance to buy the fitness manual at a special price so I would love to win this and use them together. I went vegan just a couple of weeks ago and I’m doing really well but I feel I need something more, I need a book with suggestions on how and what to cook day by day! I wouldn’t mind getting rid of some pound but most of all I’m trying to conceive baby #2 and I want a super healthy pregnancy and a home-birth First pregnancy was fine almost until the end but then I had a blood pressure issue and even though in the end I had a normal delivery and was able to go home after a couple of hour, I had to go in hospital because my pregnancy wasn’t considered “healthy” anymore. I want a second chance, I know that it will happen what is meant to happen and I will accept anything, even a C-section if that’s what is needed. But I’m hoping for something different and my body is telling me to stick with a vegan diet!

“I would love to learn how to do vegan right. I followed Kimberly Snyder’s way and lost all my energy and half my hair. I have a strange hormone imbalance that no medicine seems to cure and no doctors can diagnose, and I have not had a comfortable stomach in so long. I believe there is a natural cure, and I won’t stop looking for it! I’ve tried so many things but I won’t give up. This would be a great help. Thanks!”

If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram you’ve seen that I have been going crazy with knitting and crocheting for Sprout lately. I still have a few projects on my mind before the winter season is over, but as of a couple of days ago, I have been preoccupied with making cute lil’ girls’ headbands. Now that I am a Mommy of a girl with little hair, I think that that they are a must! Not to mention that they look great in person and in pictures.
I know that this is totally different than anything I ever blog about… but it is a part of my life
This was yesterday’s project–a Daisy Headband:
Today was yet another one–a Rose Headband: [click to continue reading…]
