A couple of days ago I had written a post about 7 Dangerous Health Consequences of Eating Too Much Salt, and we had a very interesting conversation on this topic on my Facebook page. However, talk is cheap, unless I also tell people HOW to live salt free and enjoy naturally occurring sodium which can be found in plants. So, inspired by my recent trip to see my family, with the help of one of my almost-vegan sisters, I whipped up this salt free, Low Sodium Recipes: Crunchy Marinated Vegetables. You will LOVE it! My entire family enjoyed it–I liked all veggies, Hubby favored mushrooms, and Sprout eaten anything she was offered
. I served it with quinoa and beans. MMMMMMMMMMMMM, good!

This recipe was inspired by my Husband’s love for snacks… and wasabi–the man LOVES spicy foods. While I do not share the passion for spicy, I love to make healthy snacks, filled with nutrients, minerals, and vitamins, and having ZERO negative health effects. So, I created a very special snack for him. The best part about it–anyone can make it–there is no measuring cup involved!

I will be totally honest–cauliflower is NOT my favorite food, although I will eat it. At least that was true until our local V-Gathering last week. Amber, a very wonderful V, brought with her Buffalo Cauliflower and my husband gobbled up almost the whole dish. I had to ask her for the recipe–if I can keep Hubby happy, I wanted it! :) She graciously told me her secret and allowed to tweak and blog it. Since I made it this morning, I could not stop eating it (although I had to), I decided that the right name for it should be Cauli Poppers!
I promise you that this recipe will make you lick your fingers dry! I think I will make another serving of it today.
