Pineapple Dandelion Green Smoothie

Good morning, Loves!  Hope you are having a great one.

My morning is never the same unless I start it off with a green smoothie, to wake up my body and get my digestion going in the right direction. Although I consume a whole foods, plant based, unprocessed diet, if I ever don’t get enough of my greens in during the day my body does not feel the same. It is amazing what a glass, or two, of green smoothies does for me!

Today I whipped up a delicious…

 

Pineapple Dandelion Green Smoothie

yields 3 servings

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups pineapple (or 1 large ring–you don’t have to core it if you have a high speed blender)
  • 1 banana
  • 1-2 cups strawberries
  • 2 tbsp dulse flakes
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 3/4 large bunch dandelion greens

Blend until smooth.

The pineapple gives this blend a fantastic fresh taste to live for ;).

If you have never had a green smoothie or do not consume green smoothies on a regular basis, you don’t even know what you are missing–the way your body feels and functions can be improved by leaps and bounds by drinking just one or two of these drinks a day… but more about that in the next post. 🙂
