Fat Free Roasted Potatoes

A healthy way to satisfy your French Fries craving, without making a dent in your weight loss efforts.
  • 3 lbs. red potatoes
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose seasoning or any favorite seasoning (or to taste)
  • salt to taste
Dipping Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Veganaise
  • 4 tbsp ketchup
Dipping Sauce Option 2
  1. preheat oven to 425 F
  2. line baking sheet with parchment paper
  3. cut potatoes into wedges (larger potatoes—cut in half, then each half into 5 wedges; smaller—cut each half into 4 wedges)
  4. place potatoes in a mixing bowl, add salt and seasoning and toss until potatoes are well coated
  5. lay out fries on a baking sheet
  6. bake until golden and crispy (I flip my wedges over half way through with a spatula, to get even golden color)–about 8-10 minutes on each side
  7. serve with ketchup or Fry Sauce (an occasional indulgence due to its fat content), or enjoy these fat free roasted potatoes with Oil Free (low fat) Vegan Ranch dressing
  8. to make Dipping Sauce, whisk Veganaise and ketchup until smooth
