Chemical Free, Homemade Deodorant

Tired of nasty BO and the skunk under your arms? Try this chemical free homemade deodorant and you will say good bye to body odor forever!
Ingredients
  • ¼ cup baking soda
  • ¼ cup corn starch
  • 5 tbsp organic coconut oil
  • 10-15 drops essential wild oregano oil*
  • 25 drops essential sweet orange oil (you van use any fragrant oil)
  • 10 drops essential peppermint oil
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients, starting with oils, in a food processor (alternatively, you can use a hand mixer or a whisk)
  2. Slowly add baking soda and corn starch
  3. Blend until the mixture is smooth (you might have to stop food processor to scrape off the sides)
  4. Pour mixture into a deodorant container (you can empty your old deodorants which failed you and use the container)
  5. Fill to the top. Tap container gently to get mixture settled in. Add more if needed.
  6. Place cap over it. Refrigerate to let it solidify.** (it will take less than an hour)
  7. Once deodorant solidifies, it is ready to be used!
  8. When applying it, do so a few minutes BEFORE putting on clothes. If you put too much on, massage it into your skin, let it absorb and you are ready to be BO and chemical free!
  9. Do not be afraid--it won't leave oily stains on your clothes.
  10. Keep refrigerated between uses.
  11. When traveling, pack with an ice pack.
Notes
**oregano oil--the magic ingredient--kills germs on contact, so say “goodbye” to bad odor!
**coconut oil begins to liquefy at 74°+F.

This deodorant is gender-neutral, so, everyone can use it. You can make it more feminine or masculine by adding your favorite scented oils to the mix.
