A few weeks ago I was invited to become a contributor on a fitness driven forum Tribe Sports*. I get to talk about vegan nutrition, also found a vegan fitness group there, and soon will be talking about vegan pregnancy and fitness. One of the cool features of the site is that they regularly post simple workouts, which can be performed about anywhere you are, using your own body as a weight, and I LOVE body weight workouts! See, if you are traveling, you are not likely to pack a set of dumbbells and, for most, even go looking for a gym, but if you know a few good exercises you can do using only your body weight, you are more likely to actually do something! (if you do not know any, or would like to know more, that’s where I come in–or you can pull up my exercises with your smartphone, tablet or a laptop!) This must have been the reason that my ARM TONING EXERCISES WITHOUT WEIGHTS FOR WOMEN AND MEN video on youtube has been so wildly popular (almost 175, 000 views to date).

I just made one more exercise video to brighten up your day . This is a 3-in-1 package–you will hit your abs, glutes and your legs. Although I demonstrate this exercise with a ball, it can also be successfully done at a gym [or home] on an bench or a step, used in step classes. [...]
The crazy rainstorm knocked the power out for a few hours today. It was good in a way–I got to catch up on my reading, and finished yet another great book: Ghost Writer, by Rene Gutteridge. When I first started the book a few days ago I thought I was not going to finish it, [...]
